First Financial Northwest Foundation, (FFNWF) was established in 2007 by First Financial Northwest Inc. (FFNW) with funds received from a charitable contribution in conjunction with the First Financial Northwest Inc. Plan of Conversion, from a mutual to a stock form of organization. This action was taken concurrently with FFNW’s initial public offering.
Our Mission Statement
The First Financial Northwest Foundation, Inc. was established to benefit the Greater Renton Area*. The Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life in these communities by investing in the residents of today and tomorrow. Our main areas of focus for accomplishing this mission are through the support of not-for-profit community groups, education, healthcare, community development and other charitable purposes.
*The Greater Renton Area is defined by the boundaries of the combined City of Renton and Renton School District service areas.
